Teaser Tuesday #16

Superbe ce teasing !

Mara wakes up from a coma with no memory of the accident that caused the deaths of her best friend, boyfriend, and boyfriend's sister. The doctors tell her parents that starting over in a new state, a new school will be good for her and to let the memories come back on their own. But Mara's new start is anything but when she sees the faces of her dead friends everywhere and her world is falling apart. And then she begins to see people's deaths before they happen - at least she thinks that is what is happenning. On top of that, the most beautiful boy she has ever seen can't seem to leave her alone, but is his agenda more than he leads on ?

The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer by Michelle Hodkin (Expected publication: September 27th 2011)

Birthmarked2

In the thrilling follow up to Birthmarked, sixteen-year-old midwife Gaia Stone has fled
from the Enclave and now must fight for her baby sister’s survival in the matriarchal society of Sylum.

Striking out into the wasteland with nothing but her baby sister, a handful of supplies, and a rumor to guide her, 16-year-old midwife Gaia Stone survives only to be captured by the people of Sylum, a dystopian society where women rule the men who drastically outnumber them, and a kiss is a crime. In order to see her sister again, Gaia must submit to their strict social code, but how can she deny her sense of justice, her curiosity, and everything in her heart that makes her whole ?

Prized (Birthmarked #2) par Caragh O'Brien (Expected publication: November 8th 2011 )

@ Oui il s'agit de la date de parution en VO ! Il me semble que l'éditeur français devrait suivre ... à surveiller ! ;)

Joli, c'est vrai ! Pour le deuxième tome de Birthmarked, la date correspond à la parution prévue en anglais, j'imagine ? (il faudrait que je m'y remette, j'ai arrêté la lecture en VO après les études...)
